There’s so much I love about Misfits for Democracy! Who wouldn’t want to hang out and do good work with such a lively cohort of scrappy, creative, dedicated progressive activists. They do what needs to be done, with savvy and style to spare. And hey, they cheered me up and made me laugh, as we worked our way through what seemed like a bazillion election calls. All Hands Brigade was glad to have the Misfits as partners. Looking forward to our next adventure together.

Phonebanking sucks, right? Not when you dial with Siobhán and the Misfits. If anyone could make calling voters in the middle of a pandemic the high point of my week, it was this crew. Fair warning to Right Wing America: Siobhán’s got your number.
— Dan Wyman, former president, City Congregation for Humanistic Judaism NYC

The Misfits are a fantastic organization to work with. They are incredibly helpful and their leadership is superb!
— Jack P., Jon Ossoff Campaign

These phone banks truly testify that all kinds of people from all kinds of backgrounds can be organized effectively and, in turn, organize others effectively. Communities and victories can be built in so many ways—I am so proud that The Misfits prevailed.

Phone banking is tough but important work, and it’s even tougher if you have mixed feelings about the candidate. I’m sincerely impressed and grateful that Siobhan and the Misfits did the hard work to elect the centrists who will be absolutely essential for us to have any hope of fighting fascism and saving the climate.
— Josh Feintuch, Arrangement Coordinator, Sing in Solidarity

Recently, the Misfits were featured in The Forward in a personal essay entitled “When an L.A. Jew talks to a gun-loving Georgian”
